HERS Rating for New Constructions
All of our new homes have a HERS Rating of 47 to 54. The Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Index is the industry standard by which a home’s energy efficiency is measured. The HERS Index is the most in-depth assessment on home energy efficiency. This assessment takes into account all variables that can affect the energy efficiency of a home. These factors include: exterior walls, attic, windows, doors, heating and cooling systems, duct work, water heating systems, lighting, and appliances. All of our homes are verified by the HERS home energy rating assessment, which is conducted by a certified RESNET energy rater.

The “R” is the measure of thermal resistance; the higher the R-value, the greater the insulating effectiveness. In Oklahoma, the R-value should be at least a 30 per code. We exceed this standard, making your new home operate more efficiently.
